It’s fasting month. I recommend those who are near, go to Bazaar Ramadhan at Kuala Perlis. Located near the jetty, the bazaar offers an array of delicious seafood. The grills are just magnificent.

it has been 12 days since i left kuala lumpur.

it would be a definite lie if i say that i didn’t miss kl. i missed every single bit of it. having said so, i submit to the fact that it is my time to bid farewel. a man gotta do what he’s gotta do don’t you think.

anyway, just a quick update. i am now staying with md nor at changlun. together with sepul, another housemate. i am not sure whether this would be a permanent abode yet. changlun is not that far from perlis. situated on the borderline and not to mention, danok too for that matter (hehehe).

the journey from changlun to jejawi (my office is there) takes me around 20+ minutes. counting by the distance, it is about 25 km. with no traffice congestion, you don’t have to speed. take your time and enjoy the ride. heck, you could even catwalk on the highway (exaggeration di situ ye! hahah).

look at the photo snapped while driving. it was at 8 in the morning and fog is so thick.

so far, the grass is actually greener on the other side. you never know.

have i just got some news today. well, it was not ACTUALLY today. but, the infinite truth came about today. hell. it kinda spoilt the weekend fun. well first, i had just finished cramping and stashing my car with piles of stuff from the abode. yes people, i am moving out. btw, for those who do not know (or do not bother to know) i am currently staying at 5th college, university of malaya. been staying happily there for 3 solid months. why happy? 1st, the electricity is paid by the college (meaning: air-cond to the max! 24 / 7 hahaha). 2nd, it was fully furnished. what’s in there – just about everything! it even comes with dryer. i could open laundry service here. 3rd, the flat is damned spacious - i stayed alone. there are 3 rooms and 2 washrooms. it comes with bath tub and hot/cold shower. how cool is that. AND, you do not have to pay for the water too. 4th, staying in campus meaning it is about 5 minutes drive to my workplace – the chancellery. who could ever thought that living in the heart of klang valley would means ZERO traffic. i had the experience dan damned it was terrible.

my previous office was in cyberjaya and i stayed at serdang. it was against the traffic and plus, cyberjaya was practically a deserted place. so, not much car coming in and out every day. hence, no traffice jam AT ALL. that was then. came february when i first reported for duty. i was still staying in serdang and had to wake up at 6 am just to escape the congestion. that had helped a little. reaching the old klang road, there goes your good driver attitude and welcome mat rempit kolar putih. huh! everybody was practically maneuver the vehicles maniacally.

so, when opportunity to stay in came knocking, i jumped to it.

anyway, coming back to the story. little did i know that i had so many things! it took me quite some time to sort out the important, less important and throw away important. at some point i just didn’t bother and off it went to the dump. you would not imagine the phenomenal amount of energy and tears being shed just to sort all my stuff. i mean, everything look valuable and bear some memories in it. since space is the essence, sacrifices has to be made. i had thrown away a lot of shirts, souvenir + memoribilia, books, magazines, etc. etc. and finally it came to a close of 15 boxes. still plenty your reckon?

a series of FORTUNATE event a.k.a my update

I am now watching a series of unfortunate events. The one that starred jim carrey as count olaf. This movie was based by lemony snickett’s book. I do not wish to indulge in this movie rather I intend to write the opposite of that. My own version of a series of FORTUNATE events. Now, why would I want to tell you about it? First, I have not been updating this blog which left you people unaccustomed of my latest information.

Not that it’s important.

I just felt I owed it to you.

1. HOW DO I HATE THEE?

In the previous entry, I did narrate about my experience teaching at keliuch (it’s KLIUC). I am still doing part time there. Only last semester; November happened to be more challenging than I anticipated. Not on subject and syllabus but more of a skill in judging and making the right decision. I do not wish to divulge all in here suffice to say that all that happened allowed me to pause and think of how silly people are when their desire are not fulfilled. It is in my opinion that people will mature with times. And by times, people will definitely learn to respect the elder; if not the authority. Being an outsider, I cannot stop from contemplating to the ideas that are we not in the least manner subject to any jurisdiction.

Again, there’s always another side of the coin. Don’t you think?

People said, there shall be rainbow after the rain and there shall be happiness in the sufferings. I managed to make friends with the students in my class and I am proud to mention them here: Bo, pyan, jay, shafa, cahaya, haikal, sihin, wan and few more (tell me if I left you out. Its 1 am now ) Still, the grace of god is mightier than others. I am blessed with another opportunity to still teach there. Even for short semester I am grateful for the trust and faith bestowed upon. It’s diploma student this time around and the subject was corporate communication practice 3.

So, the answer is that I hold no grudges to any of them. This is just phase of your life; a path to adulthood.

After all, they are just a bunch of student.
